Stars Interpret Louis Vuitton's Collaborative LV Trainer Art Series

As part of Louis Vuitton’s 2024 LV Trainer sneaker collaboration series, Chinese artists Zhou Yilun and Wen Na created four new LV Trainer sneakers, including 42.5°C (orange and black) and -8.6°C (pink and blue), colors designed by artist Zhou Yilun, as well as “Wave” (above the waves) and “Cloud” (above the clouds), designed by artist Wen Na. Brand ambassador Wang Jia’er, brand ambassadors Wang Hedi, Ouyang Nana, Liu Yaowen of the Times Youth League, singer JJ Lin and actor Wu Hankun presented a series of art collaborations on LV Trainer sneakers, interpreting the clash of inspiration between art and fashion.
42.5°C (orange and black color scheme) and -8.6°C (pink and blue color scheme), created by artist Zhou Yilong, replace the familiar design language with flowing paint, giving the work a vibrant, unfinished quality. Both sneakers are handcrafted and hand-painted in Louis Vuitton’s Fiesso d’Artico shoe workshop in Italy. The hand-painted gradient effect intertwines with the flowing paint, creating an optical illusion of speed. The laces feature the brand’s hand-painted logo in plasticine, adding a lively, playful touch.
“Wave” (above the waves) and “Cloud” (above the clouds) in a new interpretation by artist Wen Na. Waves and auspicious clouds are vividly reproduced on the uppers of the shoes using painting technique. Each pair of sneakers is hand-painted by masters of Italian shoe workshops.
